Our Story
FORGED IN THE GRIND. RESTORED IN THE HEAT.
For over thirty years, I was a builder. I didn't just show up to a job site; I gave my heart and my soul to my trade. I took pride in what I created, but eventually, I gave my body to it, too. By the time I was 49, the toll was undeniable. I had already had my left hip replaced, and two years later, my right hip was in so much pain I could barely keep working. I had spent a lifetime building for others, but I had worn out the temple I was given. The "old way" of doing things—powering through the pain on my own—wasn't working anymore.
The Moment of Surrender
I'll never forget the day it clicked. I was walking out to my deer stand—a walk I'd done a thousand times—but my body was failing me. I reached a breaking point. Right there in the woods, I stopped and cried out to God for help. I admitted the truth: "I can't do this on my own." I needed a change, not just for my health, but for my soul.
The Why: A Legacy for My Sons
As I prepared for my second hip replacement, the "Why" shifted. It wasn't just about escaping the pain. It was about being the leader I needed to be for my sons. I needed to show my eldest son, Kaleb, that a man is never too old to redeem his strength and that discipline is a lifelong calling. And I needed to be healthy and present for my two younger boys, Seth and Elias, to give them the father they deserve. I committed to a Carnivore lifestyle and daily exercise. Since that day, I have lost 120 pounds.
The Unfinished Journey
I'm not at the finish line yet. I'm still 30 pounds away from my goal weight, but the mindset has already shifted permanently. There is zero chance of returning to my old lifestyle. The man who walked into those woods is gone; the man who walked out is committed to the finish.
The Den
Redeemed Strength is the result of that transformation. It's built on the belief that through God's help, a disciplined mindset, and absolute consistency, any man can be restored. We provide the gear and the fuel for men who are done making excuses and are ready to enter the Den.
Discipline. Consistency. Redemption.
